Most folks are posting on Facebook instead of the smaller forums. I still come here to look, but there are few posts to comment on.

I'm still here pal, does that count?

Myself I still find a forum a better place for what we do and talk about. It becomes a more organized and permanent record-- doing this on social media makes everything so transient.

One thing that has always been good about LTW is that while there is a place for anyone with legit contributions, we have managed to keep the discussion on the higher end and not get much in the way of "my high Point jambs to much my buddy says grind a point in the fining pin is that true pleze help!!!!!"

Hang with us, I predict a swing of the pendulum back our way.

I'm a big fan of LTW, the charity's and chance to win a beautiful custom 1911 but it feels as if it has ended. There is no reason to believe that there will be an LTW #12.

I check in occasionally to see what projects you guys have been posting but yeah, without the charity raffles...

I still stop in from time to time!

I said this same thing a year or two ago. The forums have died as people want a more instant feedback of search criteria. Facebook is ok, but you still run into, but not nearly as much chaos and childish behavior as you do on the forums. LTW is the only one I have seen and used that has been at a much higher standard than the others. Instagram IMO is really the place to be. Then all you have to do is make sure your subject matter is great and that people will want to search it out and view time and time again. I don't think this should be too hard for you.

Example of the pictures I just posted. On another forum in two days, I have had 357 views. On Instagram I had 380 likes in a matter of a few hours, along with over 3,500 times my post had been seen, 10 comments vs 3, over 3,000 reaches (unique accounts that see my post) and over 400 in an engagement of just the one picture.

I will say that even though the LTW seems slow, it is still the real professionals choice.
