As they say..."For quality you only have to say OUCH once."

I saw this bad boy @ the SHOT Show and HAD to have it....HAD, MUST, NEEDED IT MORE THAN OXYGEN!!

Check book is still smokin....

Don was kind enough to put it to the side for me for a couple of months to allow me to sell off a toy to pay for her.

She will be on her way to me in a week or so !!! Thanks Don!!

Details:

As far as the details of the HP, It includes slide flattened and serrated, Heinie sights, Bar-Sto barrel fitted, frame to slide tightened, bevelled mag well, trigger job with overtravel stop, reliability package, Stippled front and rear grips, serrated back of slide, high cut front strap, carry bevel, polished blue finish, and 3 mags:

I fondled that piece till I was afraid the paint would wear off. Of all the HP's in our booth, there was just 'something' about that one that felt 'oh so correct'.

Congratulations on your aquisition. Don made it sweet. Enjoy!

That's a pretty one. Congratulations.

Did you have a "count down calendar" while you waited? :D

MaceWindu,

Congrats on a great acquisition. I got to fondle this one also at SHOT and loved it. Don does build a great HP!!!!!!!

I really thought the skeletonizing which he did to hammer was also pretty cool. If you get a chance post a picture of it for all to see.

Best,

Ray

Nice catch, Mace! That is a fine pistol.

Is it just me, or is the Hi-Power one of the most graceful looking firearms of all times? Those things just look and feel so darned good.
