Does anybody know of a gunsmith that will work on a CZ-82 pistol? For anyone not familiar with this pistol, it is the exact same as a CZ-83 (9mm Kurz/.380) but it holds 12 rounds of the slightly more potent 9x18 Makarov.I just picked up one of the little beauties, and absolutely love it, but it needs a little tweaking. As it came (surplus police gun) it had a large ding right on the end of the barrel that includes a slight burr in the crown of the muzzle. I would like to get that fixed and a very slight action job (it has a very nice trigger as it, just think it could be a bit smoother), and a good durable finish on it to make this an excellent CCW piece. I had asked the great Don Williams, but he doesn't work on these. Any suggestiions on this would be greatly appreciated!---John

The omnipotent Teddy Jacobsen would be a good bet as he is a huge Mak fan. About all he does is actions and crowns.

I , too, have had work performed by Teddy, and he does quite a nice job. He is also quite easy to work with.

Take a look at his site, actionsbyt.com. He lists that he performs work on most CZ pistols. Calling him is always the best option.

George Smith at EGW works on CZ's. Miossi Gun Works, Angus Hobdell and Matt Mink are three others that do really nice action work on a CZ-75.
