Hey Ted and Company, how about a revolver package to round out the herd? Something like a companion to "Big Lewie" would be nice for those of us who'd like to pack something on our side when we're trumping around the forests. I'm thinking like a S&W 629 or the like in 44mag would be ideal.

Just some thoughts.....

I might consider sending my Anaconda in for a tune up.

I love revolver work. Absolutely love it. You guys have probably even seen some of it in a couple of recent westerns

Problem is, I'm just covered up in the full-house end of the 1911 work here, and it's just not practical. I can't in good conscience keep a guy's revolver for a year.

Unfortunately 1911's are one of the things I'm probably least proficient at, but they're something that definitely isn't going away, and they do help pay the bills.

Anyone up for a YoBo double .470?

Rifle?

That outta be fun! :D

I'd just wave it at the little puny deer we have out here and they'd die of fright.

Oh, wait...that might be an Assault Weapon in California. Only a terrorist would want to use one. Probably for shooting up orphanages and attacking oil refineries...

...keeping a guys revolver for a YEAR???...I once made the mistake of telling one of the founding members of the "APG" that I was in "No Hurry" for some work on a Smith 625...so he took almost TWO YEARS to get it back to me--!!! The "Good News", if there is any, is that that particular 625 was the LOUSIEST N-frame I have ever owned, PRIOR TO the work...after the work, it is one of the NICEST "N's" I've EVER handled, and the best I've ever owned, by a long shot...lotsa' people have tried to pry it away from me, but it's still here....mikey357

If he's that much better at revolver than 1911's, I send my gun and wouldn't care if it took 3 years!

I have a 27-2 6", or a 5" that I'd love to send you!

BTW- would it be sacriligous  to change a 27 to a Round Butt, from square? I have some really cool Nill grips that were a 1-off, and they are N-Frame, RB, and I think they were born to be on a 27!

Hmm...replied to this a few days back and it never popped up (scratch, scratch).
I think a YoBo Revo is most definitely needed! If to only round out the packages. Maybe a Retro YoBo Revo!!! Classic Smith (or Colt) with some King Gunsight style mods, finely finished????
As for the YoBo 470, only if it were made in the English style and not some clunky Germanic/American style double.
