Tim, like I mentioned to you before, nobody bevels better than you! That has "character".
Now, give us the details on the build.

Tim you're my hero... that is one neat little pistola. Amazing as stuff as always.

Now all you need is an Alessi key fob to hang it off of...

Sweet gun my friend, you never stop impressing me. 8)

Blimey Tim, how long did you have to leave it in the gun shrinking machine? That thing is terminally cool, little on the outside, big on the inside!

I can just see me at the gas station. It's $25.25, I go into my pocket to bring out the change, and, oopsey, pardon my .45 everybody.....

Nice "boldly going", as always.

Perfect....That is funy sh$t.

I know we talked about this but I could not actually picture the final product. To say I am beside myself or dumbfounded is a toss up. Partly because I sort of understand what would go into something like this and second, I don't understand at all. The detail is, well, frightening.

To answer your question from the other day....I would stay off the Prozac...let the work consume you. If Ned runs out again just simply tell him NO! :P

Seriously, that is unspeakable. I can think immediately of a situation where a pistola like that might come in handy. This is the first gun that would fit in my sock.

Ahh...by the way nice snaps. This thing in an IWB? Are you kidding? Congrats Tim, on swerving the curve.

That is flat out AWESOME!

...and I hope no one gets upset with me for diverging a bit, but I've gotta tell this story, just to one-up Ned.

Early in my career I arrested, on several occassions, a rather rowdy lady who normally had a .25 nestled between her 40's. It sure would have been nice to confiscate one of these instead of them danged Ravens. :D

Wow. That is an amazing piece of work. What does it use for magazines? Detonics-sized? I have a Defender that has had the butt shortened to Detonics dimensions, but I think Tim's little beast is even smaller than that! Details, man! WE NEED DETAILS!!!!!!

I'm impressed! I suppose the triggerguard is somehow hinged so you can put your keys on it?!

You know Tim, I've always heard that everything begins to shrink once you move from the eastern plains to the western slope! 8)

Detonics Magazines

I imagine there's some more stuff done, but at the moment I can't remember what.

The pistol holds 7 rounds, counting one in the snout. Very controlable when firing. Comes complete with keychain holster.

One more note. The flattened and polished grip screws are an idea I boldly stole (with permission of course) from His Nedliness. While at SHOT this year, Ned and I were looking over each others guns to see which of us could find the most 'faults' with the other's Image, and I noticed he had flattened the grip screws somewhat on one of his. I liked the look and asked if I could steal his idea. Several beers later, he finally agreed.

I bounced the idea of this little rascal off both Steve Bailey and Jason Burton. Both told me I needed to seek professional help. Not quite sure what they meant.....

Thanks for all the kind comments, fellas.

Ned, What are you buying gas for? A lawnmower?

But in the same vein, imagine what you might come up with if you had this little piece in a Thunderwear holster?

Tim,

I've said it before, but I really have to shoot one of your little ones. I had a Detonics for a while, but factory 1911s just don't do it for me any more after being spoiled, and the Detonics needed A LOT of work. I have to shoot one before I could buy one, but I'm sure I'd like it. Wanna make a temp trade and borrow a gun for a few weeks?

Absolutely amazingly ridiculously small but big on COOL.

You didn't think I was keeping the bills all paid by working on 1911's did you  ?

Thanks for the credit on the screws, Tim, but ya didn't have to do that. Hey can I get one of those only just a tad bigger, say, oh, 5" barrel, and maybe a bit longer on the butt too  ?

Hmmph! Tim, I had warned you about cleaning your 1911's in the dishwasher...... In all seriousness, absolutely stunning work.
