Well Gentlemen,

I am sorry I haven’t posted in a while. Actually, I was waiting until I could put in a few photos of a new pistol I had built since I’ve been home. Well, bottom line is I won’t be home to do that for a little bit. Seems I have to go back to the rock pile to try and finish what I started.. Unfortunately, I wont get out to Vegas next show to meet some of the folks here that are doing so much..maybe one of these years I will.

The fortunate part is that I met two great guys from this forum...Al and Lou, along with all of the folks that work for Lou and his family. I hope when I get back that I will get to meet more of the folks that have made a lot of my time in the past well worth while.

Mr. Yost and Mr Bonitz, I hope that you understand that I have full intent on getting out my firearms to you to make them everything they can be. Everyone else, please keep posting all of your photos, they definitely make coming home something to look forward to. Take care and God bless you all...trust me when I say it’s folks like you that make doing the job, more than a job.

Jim

Jim,

I have only spoken to you briefly, but I can tell the kind of man you are and know we are in good hands with you taking care of us and our country. Thank you for all you do, and please be sure to thank your soldiers for me. GOD bless you, Captain Tighe, and may you and your soldiers have a safe deployment.

Capt Tighe,
Jim, what can I say. You have become as close as a brother to me. For once I am at a loss for words. All I can come up with is please keep that fat head DOWN when the SHTF!
Through this board I have met and conversed with the best this country has to offer in deeds and spirit and you my friend are at the top of the list!
To volunteer to do the job you do speaks volumes about your character Jim. I am humbled.
ALSO, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIM TIGHE!

Capt. Tighe -

The SHOT show is our annual opportunity to get together for a few days, meet new friends and enjoy the company of old ones. We've all hoped both you and Al could make it this year. You've both done so much for this place.

Please try and plan on joining us when your rich uncle Sam sees fit.

Meanwhile, stay safe, keep your men safe, and rest assured that more than one pint will be hoisted in your honor in Las Vegas this year.

Thank you, for all you do.

Jim,

Once again, thank you for being you and for your service to our country.

LTW will miss you in the interim. Trust us to say that you will be in everyone's thoughts.

Best and stay safe.

Capt Tighe-
I wish you the very best. Be careful, and I hope you succeed in whatever task(s) you are given over there.

Try to get in here for a look when you can!

Capt. Tighe,

Godspeed. Prayers for you and your troops' safe return. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you are doing.

Was so looking forward to meeting you at SHOT this year. Even though you won't be there physically, we will definitely raise a glass in your honor.

Stay low - stay safe - stay focused.

Tim

Jim-

I don't have the words to tell you how grateful we are that you and your troops are doing this for our country. Just let me say that we respect you and admire you and THANK YOU. From past experience I know that there are things you need and enjoy that can't be obtained "in country". Please don't hesitate to let me know (and I am certain that I speak for Al and Jim and others) what you or your guys need and I'll try and take care of it.

Please be safe and look out for your troops. Y'all will be included in my prayers.

May the LORD bless you and keep you.

Chip

I too am glad we have people who are willing to make the sacrifices that makes this Country great. Godspeed to you, your family and your troops. Drop in every once in awhile and let us know that all is well. Be careful though, one day you might have my son as one of your troops. I know from experience that he doesn't listen real well and he hates authority figures. Somewhere in Oklahoma he has a DI conned though, he seems to have been the honor grad of his Basic training.

Cptn, whatever you find yourself needing, you know we'll be climbing over each other here trying to get it to you.

I've heard "a pint" and a "a glass". Let's not limit ourselves so. How about we just say, "a large quantity".

You have a big place in our thoughts and at whatever SHOT Show you can make it to, if not this one, then, the next or the next.

Hey Cap,
I will echo all the above sentiments. Your presence at the Shot Show would be fantastic...any of them. Take care of yourself and your troops. What you guys are doing is appreciated by all of us. We will take care of things on this side. Let us know if there is anything we can do.

Everyone,

Thanks for the posts, emails and PMs...

Ned, Trust me you hit it on the nose....Im way too Irish for a single beverage

Im pretty sure that all I will need is the knowledge that folks back here are keeping the beer supply fresh for when I come home. The more you all do to dent the older stuff the fresher it will be when I get back.

Jim

I forgot...pictures...lots of pictures...Nothing like gun pron to keep the brain focused.

Rapid turnover on the stout, guaranteed. Since gun pron is the only kind that gets past the powers that be over there, you can count on us to be providing it!
