I have an Essex frame with a very short grip frame. I called Essex and they told me what I have is an old Detonics frame.
What I need help with is the main spring housing ( and internals), grip safety and hammper strut to fit this frame. I tired Colt officers model parts but they are too long.
Does anyone know where or who I can contact to find the parts I need?

Try Detonics USA they are making the CombatMaster guns again and the parts I believe are all interchangable with the old models. Also you can post a note on the Detonics collectors chat forum on Yahoo and see if someone has any parts. Good luck.

I just bought some parts from Detonics for a couple of trade in guns. They were helpful and I received the parts in short order.
