Back in June I posted a request looking for a holster maker to take on a project. My dad retires as of today and I wanted to get him something special. I wanted to recreate his sidearm and holster that he had while serving. I found a Sistema which was what he had but the holster was a tougher.

Mark Garrity took on the project to recreate the holster from a picture. Very tough job and not for the faint of heart. Worse, I had a deadline, less than 3 months. During this time Mark had some family business to attend to but he remained committed to finishing this holster. The holster arrived last week and let me tell you, this guy is AWESOME. He is truly a gifted leather bender. The pictures I'm going to post don't do justice to the finished product. I held this holster for hours since I got it and was amazed at the quality and detail. The Sistema is one present but the holster is the finale. It is a work of art in the highest sense.

If you are interested in getting a high quality holster from an honest hard working guy, I strongly urge you to look into the products made by Mark Garrity. I know I'll be getting a holster for myself from him. I was not only glad to get the holster but was very happy I made a friend along the way. Thanks Mark!!!!

I remember you requesting help with this.
I thought it was a truly noble effort, and hoped for the best, but honestly didn't think there was much hope of it getting done. I didn't think you would find anyone to attempt it.

I'm impressed in lots of ways on this one.
