Wanted one after Dnovo posted pics of his Kings gunworks custom months back. Wasnt sure it would run but thought what the heck, it was worth a try. Bought a SS Caspian slide and receiver. Then started looking for a barrel. Bar sto-nope, Nowlin-nope, Kart- no bulls, finally got ahold of KKM. Kevin advised he had a couple of 355 short chambered 5 inch bulls that were left from some special order. A little turning a little reaming and Jr. made it fit. Wanted as compact a package as possible so we used a paddle hammer I had picked up from George at EGW. We radiused the grip safety and frame horns to .250. Jr. went to the range with a box of Rem 115 grain +p JHP and an old full size mag since the metalforms arent in yet. 0 failures other than no lock back on the last round. Cycles like a singer sewing machine. Fast and smooth. It is in rough form now. I will follow up with some more (and hopefully better) pics once the cosmetics are complete. May take Neds suggestion and grind... I mean modify the grip safety/frame horns for a higher grip.

KKM 355 W/N ramped bull barrel with 11 degree crown by Jr.

Junior finished most of the cosmetics today. Cut the dust cover to match the ball radius. Blended the MSH with the frame. Blasted the surfaces to a nice matte.

100% reliable with Rem 115 JHP +P. Chrono-ed at 1100 fps. Lots of bark. Light recoil. Seems like it is going to be reasonably accurate. Too windy to tell today. Hope to have the proper mags in tomorrow. May get back to the range later in the week. Hopefully I can brrow my partners good camera then.
