After advice from you guys I put my Commander slide on my officer's frame out to the range. It worked great. But it seemed to recoil harder and louderthen my LTW Commander. I would think this was do to the springs???

Let me know what your best guess is and also what weight springs I should be running in this set up?

The recoil springs should be the same in your case. You may be feeling some difference due to the length of the grip frame, or maybe the hammer spring is lighter than it should be.

The Commander slide is heavier=more muzzle flip.
