the bar has been raised considerably in recent years with the likes of the smiths on here, and as I finish each piece I cant help but go back and redo things as my hands relearn old things.....lol

It sure looks like the "relearning" process is going pretty well... I look forward to seeing the finished product.

Hi Chuck,

It's great to see some of your work again. I've always admired your execution and sense of design over the years. I hope we get to see more of it in the future. BTW, awesome job on squaring the trigger guard!

Mr. Brian....sunday was a 5 to 5 day. no phones, contractors etc. Mr.Bailey, when I started there were only a few people that squared trigger gaurds well. I think Armand Swensen was the first, not sure. the best I ever saw were done by Dick Heinie and Mr. Brian himself. been copying them ever since. The cast frames always worried me, but a new welder eases the fear....lol

Chuck, I well remember some of your early work. It's good to see that you are back in the game.

My pictures suck, so I guess I will post a few after our website photog finishes. Twin Deltas in stainless and blue should be done next. Those will be Signature Grade.
http://i508.photobucket.com/albums/s330 ... MG3152.jpg
welded and refit Kimber. Now sports an Ed Brown Beavertail
http://i508.photobucket.com/albums/s330 ... MG3158.jpg
Finished gun. A complete rework, but not a complete build.

A 9x23 1991 a1 carry gun. Our first run of production guns should be very similar.

...thats also blued stainless on the kimber. I kinda like it. came out well

Nice work Chuck. For those who've never done a squared guard, it can be a challenge to get right. this one is.

Thanks Dave. the pictures do it no justice. I will refrain from doing any more photos till the real photographer gets finished.
