But the real thing is soooooo much better.

I will let the pictures do the talking.

Stan,

Thanks for making this such a fun and exciting process. It is truly a privilege to own one of your guns. Your work is helping to take the world of 1911’s to a whole new level of design, flawless execution and uncompromising function. This is truly “art” with a purpose!

For those of you currently waiting for your Legacy Custom..........it is worth every second of the wait.

Enjoy!

More pics to follow as this was just part of the package........... 8)

Scott,

Thanks for the kind words. What is truly amazing about this piece is that there is just as much or more thought, work and effort put into the foundation, internals and execution of the build as went into what is plainly obvious from the pics. Stan’s attention to every last detail is absolutely amazing and awe inspiring. Detail stripping it the only way to really appreciate this fact and that is not something that can be captured by pictures. Then there is the feel and shooting experience and that is simply unbelievable.

Wow, don't really have the words, but I'll go with what everyone else has said. Stan's attention to detail both inside and outside of the gun is truly amazing. Congrats to both of you.

Absolute wizardry with the milling machine.
And masterful hand work.
Add in innovative and functional design.
The package as a whole bespeaks artistry.
And it's BEAUTIFUL too!

This has to rank as the most incredible gun package I've ever seen. That's just amazing, from the gun down to the details in the case. Wow.

Having had the privelage of handling one of Stans guns and looking it over, you just can't believe the work that goes into one of his creations. From the welding and re-fitting of the slide, to the hand and machine work that goes into one, he's probably lucky if he's making minimum wage given the time that goes into one. Stan is an extremely gifted and dedicated 'smith who is only going to get better. Get in line whilst you can.
