Greetings again,
My understanding is that there were 207 .40 S&W caliber, and 154 .356TSW caliber, pistols made in 1994.
The bushing is a Briley, and its a nice feature. The "ring" part of miine was difficult to remove until about 20,000 rounds were through the pistol, but its not necessary to remove it for cleaning though.
One thing to keep an eye on is that the mag release will eventually cause the mag release hole on the left side of the frame to become oblong over time. This is caused by the downward pressure placed on it by the magazine follower/spring/slidestop/etc. I know this becuase my mag release became difficult to push beginning at around 35,000 rounds, and then became impossible to push in at just over 40,000 rounds. No problem though, as when I returned the pistol to the Performance Center to be fixed, they sent me a COMPLETELY brand new gun.
You gotta' love the Performance Center
