Shyikes that's nice. The popularity of 1911's in 9mm is kinda nice to see and it makes sense in a lot of ways, especially since A) the 9mm vs/.45 debate has boiled down to the point where we're "less certain" that .45 is vastly superior , and, B) the myth of years ago that 9 doesn't work in a 1911. I'll bet there is as much 9mm going downrange through 1911's each day as there is .45 (Tim, there's your homework assignment).

Very nice Timothy. I've talked to lots of customers who are going to 9 now that age and arthritis have appeared and it hurts them too much to shoot 45 anymore.

That piece rocks. I also find the number of folks who are interested in the 9mm are increasing. Mostly due to aging. Several are physicians and other use their hands in their works so the recoil of the 45acp is a factor.

You nailed it, Terry. This piece is for a surgeon. The 9’s in the 1911 platform (even lightweights) are like shooting a pillow.
