Like I said in another post, I recently had a couple of guns in my possession worthy of taking a few additional photos. The first full boat gun I saw of Ted's was this one. The orginal owner decided to sell it I assume for financial reasons. Either way the new owner should be quite happy. Being a big fan of "traditional" or "classic" 1911's this one fit the bill in my mind. This is my favorite if not the nicest custom 1911 I have seen to date. Details are what separates a good gun from a heirloom gun. That coupled with the ability of the individual smith and what he can do. That is why I would like to own a gun from every LTW smith. Maybe I'll ask Ted for a raise.
I thought this was a particulary nice touch. Like checkering the head of a nail.
Hand serrating a Novak...hmmmm. I struggle with Heinie sights and they are already serrated.
Apologies for the lint boogers in some of the pictures. I can't see them, but apparently my camera has no problems.
