Here are a two 5" guns recently completed, both Colts, both stainless. One's a very new XSE (checkered wood grips) , the other's a well-used Combat Elite (Duty Rated G10 grips [dutyrated.com], Dawson light rail). More details later.....

Ned? Hello? Three pics of two guns? Those are great pics of some killer guns, but what happened did you run out of film?

That was like going to a topless bar with a dollar. :?

More pics please.

Two guns - three pics.

You should be ashamed of yourself, Ned.

Sorry dudes, I'll post more if I can find some good ones.

I don't know if it's exactly chrome sulphide, nobody can seem to really tell me. In fact I've done only a few guns with this guy and am not sure yet if it'll hold up as well as I'm hoping. I do know the chrome sulphide holds up really well...... will report as I get more guns out there with this finish, with more miles on them. BTW the guy that does this for me wants me to keep him low profile.

I suppose I could divert it in your direction, say, tomorrow?

I won't be posting any more of these two but I did just sneak in a new pic down in "custom rifles" of a couple Rem 700 muzzle brakes......

Ned,

You are killing me!!! I am 5 years away on your waiting list. It will probably be a decade. I might get run over by a car tomorrow and I won't be able to get a Ned gun.

Lester, my policy is that when a customer on the list goes before I get to him, I immediately drop everything else and do his gun, so at least he can take it with him into the afterlife........... but I'd prefer it if you'd keep looking both ways before crossing, I hate seeing them buried! And I promise it won't be a decade!

Ned,
I checked, I only have Polaroid One Step film and three bucks. Ray, has some pesos and additional film if necessary. Will that get us some more photos?

Jeeezus, send those bad boys to Tempe, I will work 'em over with my Olympus. Hell, John DP will pay the shipping back to you.

Good lookin' stuff Sir Ned.

You know, I'm inside the border of "Tornado Alley" here, and sometimes one comes along and tears off somebody's roof.... I suppose it happens to a bar sometimes...... is that what you guys are talking about? 'Cause other than that, I have no idea what a "topless" bar might be..... am I just too far north?

Ned, do not keep repeating the rumor that shooters lucky enough to own one of your guns get then buried with them when they die. Otherwise, there'd be people all over the country with shovels and flashlights. (where's that surefire?)
